Class Description: The secret to great Thai food is balancing flavors by combining the five major tastes: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami. In this informative and fun class, you will learn about a variety of Asian ingredients commonly used in Thai cuisine as well as how to combine them properly for authentic Thai flavor. Learn to cook with lemongrass, tamarind, fish sauce, green papaya, and more as you work in groups to prepare an authentic Thai menu. After this class, you will think twice before going out to a restaurant for Thai food because you will be able to prepare flavorful Thai food at home.
