Taught by local artist Souby Boski you will learn artistic technique, explore the use of color, mark making, surface quality and composition.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS- Students must bring an easel and drop cloth to each class.

Painting Mediums:
Pint - stand oil Pint – linseed oil

Painting Surfaces:
Several primed canvases of assorted sizes

Brushes: Artists brushes of different sizes.
Ordinary house painting brushes (1 – 2 in.)

Brush Cleaner:
Windsor Newton Brush Cleaner & Preserver

Containers: Plastic peanut butter type jars with tight lids for mixing medium.

Palettes: Disposable Artist’s palettes for mixing paint.

Rags: Clean cotton cloth rags and an old terry cloth towel or paper towels.

Other supplies:
Palette Knife
Thin stick of charcoal
